One Block Wonder projects

I've been using this book, One Block Wonders, for a couple projects. It's fun to pick just one fabric, and see all the different kaleidoscope patterns that result from it.

This is the first fabric I picked. I fell in love with the colors. The background is a chocolate brown, and the flowers and paisley are teal, aqua and cream. I intend to make a bed quilt for my bed with this.

This is the fabric I'm going to use for the back - a stripe in the same colors.

Might use this as borders, not really sure yet.

Sorting the blocks into stacks based on color, or pattern to make it easier to get a cohesive design once I put them on the design wall.

Getting started laying out the blocks.

The fabric for my second One Block Wonder project. It was just too cute. I couldn't resist buying it immediately and starting cutting right away, even though the first quilt wasn't even put together yet. I just knew this fabric would make some wonderful blocks.

Just threw the blocks up to get a general idea of how to group them. A very rough draft, if you will.

The zebra blocks are teh awesome.
