I'd like to do some landscape quilts, so I've been buying stuff for that as I see it. The grey I think could be cut either into narrow tree trunk strips, or be used horizontal for dark skies. And the other one is hard to see, but it's basically meadow grass. It will make a great foreground for a Colorado landscape.

I have no particular need for either of these, I just liked them. The pink one reminds me of coral. And I just like the bird print. I don't think I'd use it for a quilt though... maybe I'll make an apron or something with it.
This is my favorite. I bought the entire bolt of this stuff. It's a batik that, to me, looks like a fundus. And look, Lucy approves.I've been gradually collecting fat quarters to use for a quilt imitating this one. As an eye doctor who quilts, it's just too perfect. It would make interesting artwork at work. Anyway, I think this fabric would be a great back. Or for some other eyeball related quilt I dream up in the future.
